UPDATE COMPANY VIEWS

Create new user

  1. Select Add User
  2. Type the user information to the blank fields.
  3. Select the usergroup
  4. Press Add user

Change existing user information

  1. Select Manage Users
  2. Insert a search key (part of a name or company) or search for a selected group
  3. Click Search
  4. Choose the user and select Edit
  1. Edit information
  2. Select Update User

Remove existing user

  1. Select Manage Users
  2. Insert a search key (part of a name or company) or search for a selected group
  3. Press search
  4. Select Delete

Usergroup management

Add group

  1. Select User Groups
  2. Press Add new group
In the second page:

  1. Enter information and permissions
  2. Click Add Group
Modify group

  1. Select a group from the drop down menu
  2. Select Modify
  3. Make changes
  4. Click Modify Group
Delete group

  1. Select a group from the drop down menu
  2. Select Remove

Publish a research

  1. Select Publish research
  2. Insert industry, company, report type, analyst, rating, headline and target price
  3. Select Browse and search the file from local disk
  4. Select Publish report

If the research is not made for e.g. any particular company, choose the -None- option in the list.

Administrate research library

Search for a report

  1. Select Manage reports
  2. To narrow your search result you can choose a specific industry, company, report type or analyst.
  3. You can also make a time limitation for the search and search for a specific text string or rating.
  4. Select Perform search
Edit or Delete a report

  1. To edit report choose it and select Edit
  2. To remove report choose it and select Remove
Finalise edit

  1. Edit fields and press Update report

Administrate industries

Add industry

  1. To add Parent industry choose ‘I want to add a parent industry’ from the add new industry drop down menu and insert name for a new industry
  2. To add subindustry choose the parent industry where the subindustry belongs and write the subindustrys name
Update industry

  1. Choose industry from the Update industry information dropdown menu
  2. Click update
  1. Choose parent industry
  2. Insert subindustry name
  3. Edit information and press update
Remove industry

  1. Choose industry from the Remove industry dropdown menu
  2. Select remove

Administrate companies

Add new company

  1. Press Add new company
In the second page:

  1. Select (sub) industry, name, ticker(s) and country
  2. Press Add company

Note! If you are using subindustry, set it to the company’s industry.

Note! If the company has two series of shares, remember to set ticker for both series. If the second series is unquoted, use the same (quoted) ticker for both series I and II.

 

Edit or remove company

  1. To edit company select it from drop down menu and click Modify
  2. To remove company select it from drop down menu and click Remove

Edit company background information

  1. Go to the admin main page.
  2. Choose ‘Edit company background’ link.
  3. Choose company and click the button.
  4. Insert data to the fields (you do not have to fill all fields).
  5. Insert owner information (you do not have to fill all ten owners, just the biggest ones).
  6. Click ‘Update Information’ button.
  7. If you like, click Update CompanyViews link in the next page.

Administrate tickers & or change share prices

Add ticker

  1. Click Tickers & Prices
  2. Add ticker, ISIN code, Exchange and share price
  3. Press Add

Modify ticker or change share price

  1. Select ticker from drop down menu
  2. Edit information
  3. Select Update

Note! Share prices are automatically updated every evening with close prices. This page might be useful to use temporarily if for example a price changes remarkably during one day.

Statistics

  1. Select Statistics button
  2. (Choose organisation and date)
  3. (Select time interval, default is one week)
  4. Click Search.

Update Company Views pages

Automatic update

When you update your model to the database, Company Views pages for the company in question are updated automatically.

Also all Company Views, Sector Views and All Companies pages are generated with the latest estimates and price data every (working day) night.

Manual update

If you would like to update the pages at another time (for example after updating company background information), you can run the process manually:

  1. Go to the admin main page.
  2. Select ‘Update Company Views pages’
  3. Choose a company and click the button.
